Year 4 Teacher Required - Stockton-On-Tees

A Key stage 2 teaching opportunity has arisen in a primary school situated in a sought after area of Stockton-On-Tees. The children within this school make great progress due to the enthusiastic and motivational lessons currently being delivered. This has lead to the desire to employ a driven, confident teacher to work within a Year 4 Classroom of 30 flourishing and vibrant children who require assistance with their current knowledge of the curriculum. The School were recently marked 'Outstanding' by Ofsted and pride themselves in their aim to provide the highest quality of education in order for their students to succeed. Located near the centre of Stockton, the School is easily accessible with metro routes and public transport less than 5 minutes walk away. The position is a Full Time role set to begin in May 2019 and will be ongoing till the end of academic year with potential to secure a permanent position.

Details of role:

  • Teaching a Year 4 Class of 30 pupils with 1 Teaching Assistant
  • Full time role commencing 6th of May 2019
  • Must use initiative and present excellent leadership and supervisory skills
  • Be responsible for presenting and preparing lesson plans that cater to the needs of all abilities
  • Marking work to promote and facilitate Positive Pupil Development
  • Located close to local bus links with free car parking available on the school grounds

The role requires:

  • UK recognised QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
  • Knowledge in regard to current Key Stage 2 curriculum
  • A passion to deliver the highest quality of education through a range of enrichment activities and creative teaching
  • Willingness to make a difference to assist the school in meeting requirements and raising standards
  • Valid DBS (A Child Workforce that is accessible through the Update Service)
  • Eligible to work in the UK (Right to work in the UK documentation)
