Year 4 Teacher - Gateshead

Are you a committed Year 4 Teacher with a drive to deliver inspirational and engaging lessons?

Teaching Personnel are currently working closely with a highly regarded primary School which has become an integral part of the local community. The School, located near the Black Hill area of Gateshead, are looking to welcome a Year 4 Teacher to lead a class of 27 enthusiastic and vibrant children and improve their current knowledge of the curriculum. The position is a Part Time role for 3 days a week, set to begin in April 2019 and will be ongoing till the end of academic year with potential to secure a permanent position.

Details of role:

  • Teaching a Year 4 Class of 27 pupils with 1 Teaching Assistant
  • Part time role commencing 10th of April 2019 - 3 days a week
  • Must use initiative and present excellent leadership and supervisory skills
  • Be responsible for presenting and preparing lesson plans that cater to the needs of all abilities
  • Marking work to promote and facilitate Positive Pupil Development
  • Located close to local bus links with free car parking available on the school grounds

The role requires:

  • UK recognised QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
  • Knowledge in regard to current Key Stage 2 curriculum
  • A passion to deliver the highest quality of education through a range of enrichment activities and creative teaching
  • Willingness to make a difference to assist the school in meeting requirements and raising standards
  • Valid DBS (A Child Workforce that is accessible through the Update Service)
  • Eligible to work in the UK (Right to work in the UK documentation)
