Year 4 Learning Support Assistant - South Liverpool - September 2018 Start
A Primary School based in South Liverpool are seeking to recruit a Year 4 Learning Support Assistant to start in September 2018.
- Long term role starting in September 2018
- Must have experience working as an LSA in KS2
- Possibility of a permanent contract for the right candidate
- Must have 1-to-1 experience with students with ADHD and Challenging Behaviour
Graded as 'Good' BY Ofsted, this friendly and welcoming Primary School in South Liverpool is dedicated to preparing students to become 'good citizens of the future'
School Information
The school opened in September 2011 following the closure of the former infant and junior schools which shared the same site. A large building and refurbishment project, which included linking the previous two schools together, was completed in September 2012. As a result of the amalgamation, the school is much bigger than average and serves pupils from a wide area. The school hosts out-of-hours childcare provision which is inspected separately. The proportion of pupils who are known to be eligible for the pupil premium is average. The premium provides additional funding for children in local authority care, for pupils known to be eligible for free school meals and for children from service families.
Working directly with the school, Teaching Personnel are hoping to recruit a committed Year 4 LSA in a significant phase of the students education. The inbound LSA will need complete commitment and dedication to this post as the student has ADHD and challenging behaviour.
The successful candidate should be fully committed to aiding and assisting the student to access the KS2 framework. The primary focus is to support the childs learning and development by using a range of techniques which are designed to better facilitate learning for the student.
In return, the Senior Leadership Team are ready to provide the successful candidate extensive and continued support and CPD opportunities. So if you are looking to develop your teaching career, this could be the perfect school for you.
- Fantastic support network and CPD opportunities
- Working with students with 'Good' behaviour - Ofsted
- The possibility of a permanent contract
Interviews are starting soon, if you are interested in this position and have the relevant qualifications please send your CV to or call Greg at the Liverpool Primary Branch on 0151 244 5430 for more information.
