Job description

Year 3 Teacher required in Liverpool

  • Experience planning, delivering and assessing the Key Stage 2 curriculum is highly sought after for this role
  • Opportunity to secure a perm position for the right candidate, between £80-120 per day whilst on a supply basis
  • Classroom based experience and references from within the last 12 months are essential for this role

Teaching Personnel are working closely with a client school that are looking to recruit a LKS2 Teacher to start in September 2017. Due to a planned absence and a maternity leave coming up in the Head Teacher is seeking a reliable, passionate and enthusiastic Year 3 Class Teacher to come in and hit the ground running. The position is full-time and will continue until the end of the school year in July 2018.

The school is a larger than average Primary school based in Sefton. It was graded ‘Outstanding’ in its last Ofsted report and exceptional progress is made by the pupils through key stage 1 and attainment levels are broadly in line with the national average by the end of key stage 2. This is largely down to the quality and consistency of teaching, secure assessment procedures and excellent leadership and management of the Head Teacher and senior leader.

The Year 3 class consists of 26 pupils from varying backgrounds and mixed ability. There are 2 pupils in the class with additional needs however; there is a Teaching Assistant in place to offer support and guidance throughout the placement. The school has secure parking facilities and is accessible via public transport links from all around Merseyside including a nearby train station.
