Year 3 Teacher

Full time Year 3/4 Teacher required in Derby City ASAP

• Full time Teacher required in Derby City for a Year 3/4 mixed class with a high EAL population.
• Full time role to start as soon as possible or after Easter.

Teaching Personnel are looking for an excellent Fully Qualified Teacher on behalf of a client school based in Derby (DE222). The position is to start in after Easter teaching a mixed Year 3/4 class full time until the end of the academic year in July 2017 as a minimum. The successful teacher must have strong behaviour management and be able accommodate to the different learning needs of pupils with EAL and SEN.

Teacher Specification:

•You must be fully qualified with fantastic subject knowledge of the lower Key Stage 2 curriculum

•You must have a pastoral and caring nature, and an understanding for children from disadvantaged backgrounds

•Deliver consistently high quality learning opportunities for all children regardless of needs, background or starting points

•You need to have an ability to differentiate teaching and support for the specific needs and different levels of pupils

•Experience of teaching a class with a high level of EAL, challenging behaviour, Special Educational Needs and mixed low abilities. You also need to have the ability to support and cater for these needs within your planning

•Strive to raise attendance and attainment in addition to narrowing the gap for pupils of lower ability

•You must be able to give over and above in the role, providing support to the pupils and staff, become fully involved with the schools extra curricular subjects, and generally be caring to all the pupils within the school
