Qualified Year 2 Teacher Needed for a March 2019 Start

Are you a qualified year 2 teacher seeking a new opportunity for March 2019?

Teaching Personnel are assisting a diverse and popular school in South West London with the recruitment of a full time Year 2 teacher to start in March 2019. This full time position will be offering a permanent contract for the right practitioner. You will be joining an experienced year group leader to plan with and share ideas and activities.

This is a two form entry school, spacious and modern, housing state of the art facilities. Based in the inner London borough of Wandsworth. The School has an established and dedicated leadership team who are incredibly supportive of the staff teachers within their induction year.

To be considered for this role, you must be a qualified teacher and an excellent communicator, committed to raising the attainment of primary aged students. Where this role may be offering a long term contract, there will be potential for a permanent contract for the right practitioner. The school will consider experienced teachers as well as newly qualified teachers / NQT(s). Successful Applicants will be subject to references and an up to date DBS or be willing to apply for a new DBS

Person Specification - Year 2 Teacher - London

NQTs and/or OS-trained teachers welcome to apply

Bachelor of Education / PGCE / or equivalent teaching degree

Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)

Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS/police checks Proven experience teaching the UK or an equivalent curriculum The successful applicant will become an integral part of the KS1 / Year 2 team and will receive a full induction. The school has a supportive team of practitioners and you will have two Teaching Assistants in your class.You will have full responsibility for the class, although you will be able to brainstorm ideas and plans with the parallel class teacher.

  • 5 days a week (Monday - Friday)
  • Up to £165 a day (Dependent on experience)
  • Planning and teaching lessons within the KS1 curriculum
  • March 2019 Start
  • Contracted for the full academic year with the potential to be offered a permanent contract
