Year 2 Teacher KS1

Teaching Personnel have a position available within one of our highly regarded schools. An Ofsted rated 'Good' school in Southmead, is looking for a Full Time Year 2 - Key Stage 1 Teacher to start work in September. This school boasts a fantastic ethos and would be a brilliant opportunity both for a recent graduate or an experienced teacher looking for a new venture.

Qualifications needed:

• Previous experience with Key Stage 1 pupils or pre entry work experience with children of a relevant age group
• Enhanced - up to date DBS (Teaching Personnel are happy to offer guidance with this if necessary)

• Engaging and passionate
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Outstanding communication and listening skills
• The ability to inspire by enthusing young children
• Insistent on success

Core Aims of the role:

• To provide a structured and direct educational experience, preparing suitable lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
• To motivate and offer support to each child both pastorally and educationally
• Prepare your pupils for their Key Stage 1 SATS exams taking place in May
• Insist on high disciplines of behaviour
• To monitor progression and attainment in each pupil and relay relevant information to the correct people (parents, support staff etc.)
