Year 2 Teacher for a 1 year maternity post at a school in the Leeds Halton area- LS15

  • Both Newly Qualified and Fully Qualified Teachers are encouraged to apply for the position

We are currently looking for a passionate and motivated Key Stage 1Teacher who is looking for a new career in a Primary School in Leeds Halton- LS15. The school are graded as 'Good' by Ofsted 2015 and are looking for a strong KS1 Teacher who can help raise attainment in Year 2 class 2017 for a maternity role. The school currently have 437 children currently on role with 4 pupils in Year 2 with severe SEN however, these pupils have 1:1 support. The school is located in Halton just a 5 minute drive away from the Cross Gates Train Station and 20 minutes from the Leeds City Centre.

The ideal Teacher must have previous experience in teaching lower Key Stage 1 and must be able to differentiate for a full class of mixed ability pupils. The Ideal Teacher must also have phonics experience in- Letters & Sounds.
