Job description

A Primary school in Manchester, m14 is looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant (TA) to begin working right away in one of their Year 1 classes. Teaching Personnel are working closely with the primary school to help the recruitment side of things as easy for the school as possible.

The school is looking to have the role filled as soon as the right candidate is found and will be a permanent role for the remainder of the academic year and into the next academic year. To be considered for the role you must have relevant Key Stage 1 experience and also be familiar with Phonics. The role will involve general support of the teacher and the pupils as well as being able to do small group work with phonics.

The school is a large 3 form entry Primary with an "outstanding" grade in their most recent OFSTED inspection. Being able to come in and fit in with the staff and pupils straight away is key to success in this school therefore relevant experience in the year group is necessary.

The school is looking to conduct trail days in the forthcoming weeks so it is best to apply as soon as possible to be considered for the role.
