Experienced Teaching Assistant required for Nelson Primary School.

  • Experience planning, delivering and assessing ‘Letters & Sounds’ Phonics across EYFS and KS1 is highly sought after.
  • Excellent classroom based references from within the last twelve months is desirable.
  • Opportunity to secure a long term/perm position within a ‘Good’ striving for 'Outstanding' Primary School.

Teaching Personnel is seeking to recruit an experienced and passionate teaching assistant, to work within a large Nelson Primary School. The position is to start in May 2017 and run until at least December, with the opportunity to secure a longer term/permanent contract.

The successful candidate will be required to provide 1:1 and small grouped Phonics booster session for EYFS and KS1 pupils in preparation for the Phonics screening. Experience working with the ‘Letters & Sounds’ Phonics scheme and delivering small group intervention is highly sough after for this role.

This position offers candidates the scope to develop their career within a Primary school, alongside upholding high expectations of learning, attainment and behaviour. The school is easily accessible via a number of transport links and junctions of the M65.
