A friendly and inviting primary school, near Warwick Avenue Station, is currently recruiting for a Teacher for their Year 1 Class - to start in January 2019.
The school is an Ofsted graded 'Outstanding' school and they are looking for a member of staff who will continue to hold, and potentially extend this standard of teaching.
This 2 form entry school is dedicated to creating a small school feel with a capacity of 420 children. This is to ensure that their staff know each child well in order to maintain a high standard of teaching. The lovely SLT and other staff members are always available to offer guidance and knowledge to help you progress.
The staff and pupils benefit from a range of extra-curricular activities such as: Drama, Chess, Street Dance, Knitting and many more. This allows both pupils and staff to step away from the classroom and find a new hobby. The school also encourages music tuition where the pupils can learn to play the piano, recorder and violin.
As they are close to Warwick Avenue, the school benefits from easy travel to some of the great learning environments that London has to offer. The school have recently visited the Natural History Museum, London Science Museum and a number of London's galleries, theatres and parks.

- A valid QTS
- Ability to plan and prepare effectively
- At least 2 years of Class Teaching experience
- Experience working within KS1
- A Positive and optimistic approach to teaching
Interviews for this role will begin 1st November ready for a January start. If this sounds like the school for you then do not hesitate to send me your CV by clicking the apply button.
