Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit a caring, child centred individual with a passion to make a difference to the learning of young children One of our client schools based in Darlington, are seeking a qualified Teaching Assistant to support their pupils in their Literacy and Numeracy.
The role will entail one to one and small group work activities, working with pupils of low ability and those who have additional needs.
The candidate we are looking for must be flexible, experienced in working with children from 3 – 7 and are either level 2 or level 3 qualified. You must have experience with Letters and Sounds Phonics and be confident with the EYFS curriculum and also have a nurturing, child-centred approach. You must also be able to tailor learning to suit the child’s needs and be able to keep children engaged.
It is beneficial if you have worked in a similar capacity and have experience working with SEN pupils.
