Year 1 Teacher - Immediate Start - Rochdale

This 'larger than average' school based in Rochdale (OL15) is looking for an experienced KS1 teacher to cover a Year 1 class until the May half term. The ideal candidate will have good behaviour management skills and the ability to deliver creative lessons.

The class is usually quite well behaved; however some individuals can become quite restless and occasionally display challenging behaviour. The head teacher is looking for someone who is able to keep them engaged whilst also motivating them to achieve their best.

The Ideal Candidate will:

  • Have QTS
  • Have experience working with children in KS1
  • Have good behaviour management skills
  • Be immediately available
  • Be able to commit until May half term
