Yea 3 Teaching Assistant

We are currently working alongside a lovely school in the Lytham St Anne's area who are looking for a full time teaching assistant to work within their Year 3 Class. This school holds an excellent reputation in the area and the children display exemplary behaviour.

The Headteacher of this school is looking for an inspirational Teaching Assistant to support a small group of children in Y3. The children you will be working with are working below age related expectations and require a firm but fair approach to close the gap between them and their peers.

The successful candidate must be a good listener, have a calm manner, and be able to implement effective strategies to improve Maths and English. The ideal candidate does not necessarily need to have experience across KS2 however you must have worked with children either in small groups on a 1:1 basis previously to be considered. The working hours for this role are 8:45-3:15 and this would include lunch duties, there will be a 30 minute lunch break. This school is located off the main road however it is easily accessible using public transport links.

Essential: To be considered for this role, you must have a relevant Level 2 or above qualification.

This role is to begin ASAP and the Headteacher is hoping to appoint by Friday 15^th February with the view to start in school from 25^th February after the half-term break.
