Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a Year 6 Teaching Assistant on behalf of a one form entry Primary School in Preston. The school are hoping to secure a TA to begin after the half-term break due to a recent application. In order to be considered for this role, you must be confident working alongside pupils in upper KS2 and preferably have experience delivering SATs interventions. This is a full time role Monday - Friday working from 8:45-3:15.
The successful candidate will have:
- Must have experience of working alongside children within the last 12 months.
- Experience working alongside children with a variety of learning needs such as ASC, Asperger's and ADHD.
- Experience supporting small groups of children with English and Mathematics.
- A genuine passion for maximising attainment and making a difference in the classroom.
- Excellent behaviour management and a calm, 'firm but fair' approach.
- A positive attitude and the ability to liaise with parents and an experienced class teacher.
