Y6 SATs Intervention Teacher Role - Leyland

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a Year 6 SATs Booster Teacher on behalf of a one form entry Primary School in Preston. The school are hoping to secure a strong teacher to work alongside small groups of higher and lower ability groups to begin in January. In order to be considered for this role, you must be confident working alongside pupils in upper KS2 and have excellent knowledge of KS2 SATs. This role is five mornings per week from January - May.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Must have experience of teaching KS2 within the last 12 months.

  • Experience working alongside children with a variety of learning needs such as ASC, Asperger's and ADHD.

  • Experience supporting small groups of children with English and Mathematics.

  • A genuine passion for maximising attainment and making a difference in the classroom.

  • Excellent behaviour management and a calm, 'firm but fair' approach.

  • A positive attitude and the ability to liaise with parents and an experienced class teacher.
