We are currently working alongside a lovely school in the PR5 area who use Teaching Personnel exclusively for their staffing needs. This school holds an excellent reputation in the area and the children display exemplary behaviour.

The Headteacher of this school is looking for an inspirational Teaching Assistant to support a young girl in their Y4 class. The young girl has had some gaps in education therefore she requires additional support with Literacy and Numeracy.Despite being in Key Stage 2 the young girl is currently working at Y2 age related expectations and as a result the school have received additional funding to close the gap between this child and her peers.

The successful candidate must be a good listener, have a calm manner, and be able to implement effective strategies to improve Maths and English. The ideal candidate will have worked with children either in small groups on a 1:1 basis previously. The working hours for this role are 8:45-12:00 and this would include lunch duties, there will be a 30 minute lunch break. This school is located off the main road however it is easily accessible using public transport links.

Essential: To be considered for this role, you must have a relevant Level 2 or above qualification.
