Year 4 Class Teacher required in a Chorley Primary School- TWO TERM POSITION

TWO TERM POSITION

QTS is a necessity

Experience working in challenging schools is preferable

Competitive rates of pay to be expected and reflected based on experience

An average sized Primary School in the centre of Chorley have approached Teaching Personnel this morning in order to put 'the feelers out' for a Year 4 teacher to begin as soon as January. The Head teacher has noted the reason for the two term cover will be to ensure the class currently being led by the Deputy Head teacher (who is leaving to take a new role) will need to be covered. The Head teacher also noted that the applying candidates will need to be strong with subject knowledge. It was also added that the behaviour of the children in the Year 4 class is particularly difficult, as it is a boy heavy class. Up for the challenge?

To apply you will need to send through an up to date CV to the office at This must specify where you have worked; in which year group; the dates you worked in school; referee details who can be contacted as soon as possible.

The expected rate per day will be negotiable depending on how experienced you are. It is expected that the rate will be from £100+. You must hold QTS and have completed your induction. It will be expected that you will commit to the full two terms and at the end of this period there will be an opportunity to apply for the permanent role. This role will be to work full time, five days a week from January 8th 2018.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
