Job description
Teaching Personnel are working alongside a number of schools within Swansea who require Unqualified Teachers to join the school when planned and unplanned absences arise.
This role involves covering pre-set lesson plans and supervising students within the classroom, ensuring all safeguarding and behaviour policies are followed.
- Full and part time hours available, as you work on a flexible basis on days that you are available and when the schools need additional cover in the form of a Cover Supervisor or Unqualified Teacher
- A competitive wage, dependent on your experience and responsibilities within the role
- Opportunity to work in a number of schools in the Swansea area as an Unqualified Teacher with the chance to secure a permanent contract in the near future
- Further training and development available through Teaching Personnel’s market leading CPD academy as well as being in partnership with award winning training schools in the local area
- Previous experience either working as a Cover Supervisor or delivering lessons in secondary schools as an Unqualified Teacher is preferred; however, we would welcome applications from anybody with transferable experience or those who have supported young people in a similar capacity.
Due to the nature of the role, no specific teaching qualification is required as all work will be set, and you will simply be required to deliver the work whilst you supervise the classroom and keep high behaviour and safeguarding standards.
