Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for Teaching Assistants for a school in the Stretford area of Trafford, rated as 'Good' by OFSTED in 2017 and is ASC accredited. This Catholic school caters for pupils aged 5-19 with additional special needs and communication difficulties including autism. The school prides itself on its ability to track and improve the progress of its pupils with the help of excellent teachers and teaching assistants. With support of committed and educated staff, the school's aims are to support individual pupils maximize their communication skills, improve their ability to access the national curriculum and to get the most from the general educational, social and spiritual life of the school. The ideal candidate would be a Teaching Assistant who has:

• Experience of working with Autism
• A passion and dedication for working with children
• A strong and warm personality

Your role at the school would be to work on a 1:1 basis or with small groups in order to assist with their learning, deescalate situations or provide a nurturing role to the pupils. You will be instrumental in helping the pupils gain the necessary skills to progress both academically and socially, meaning better futures for them.
