Position: SEN Nursery Assistant
Location: Colne (BB8)
Salary: £80+ per day PAYE (dependent on experience and qualifications)
Contract: Full-time, Temp to Perm

The Role: As a SEN Teahcing Assistant, you will work closely with our experienced school team to support the development and wellbeing of our young learners with special educational needs. Your responsibilities will include:

Providing one-to-one support to children with SEN, both inside and outside the classroom.
Assisting with the planning and implementation of engaging and inclusive activities that promote learning and development.
Supporting children with personal care needs, including feeding, toileting, and mobility assistance.
Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to create tailored learning experiences for each child.
Maintaining a safe and nurturing environment where children feel valued and supported.

Requirements:

Previous experience working with children with special educational needs, ideally within an early years setting.
A compassionate and patient approach to supporting children with diverse needs.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, colleagues, and parents/carers.
A commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion in all aspects of your work.
