Role: SEN Teaching Assistant- EYFS – Full Time Role

Location: Preston

Work Times: 30 hours per week across 5 days (working time: 8.45am – 3.15pm)

Pay Rate: £11.85 per hour.

A school in Preston have approached Teaching Personnel, Preston in order to source and appoint a SEN Teaching Assistant to work within EYFS (Reception Class). As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will connect directly with the children, helping to make sure they get the very best from their education. The children have so much potential, and they will rely on you to guide their learning pathways suited to them.

The school is close Preston City centre and is located close to the train station and has links to Preston Bus Station close by. The school is classed as ‘GOOD’ by OFSTED. The school meets the current government floor targets and is above the coasting threshold, The proportion of pupils who have SEN and/or disabilities is similar to that of other schools nationally. This school aims to be an inclusive school and ensures that all learners are given equality of opportunity and are treated fairly in all aspects of their work. The school also aims to promote and achieve high standards for all by providing teaching and learning of the highest quality.

This Role will be start ASAP. This will be a five-day per week position covering 30 hours. The rate of pay is competitive with other roles of this sort, so is a very good opportunity.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
