Highly experienced teaching assistant needed for primary school in Consett
The individual will be required to work with a group of pupils who have SEN over a few different year groups
Full time role potentially leading to a permanent position
Competitive rates of daily pay
The role is due to start in February and the school have requested a qualified Level 3 teaching assistant who has extensive experience working across the primary curriculum so a newly qualified TA need not apply. The school has been rated 'Good' by Ofsted and has an ambitious Head Teacher who is striving to raise standards across the school. Pupils achieve well in all areas and you will be expected to be pro active and identify pupils who require additional support.
To apply for this post you must:
- Be a qualified Level 3 teaching assistant
- Have extensive experience of working across KS1 & KS2
- Have experience working with SEN
- KS1 SATs experience would be beneficial
- Be supportive, encouraging and determined
