Exciting Opportunity for ECTs: Kickstart Your Teaching Career in Primary Schools from September 2024!

Are you a passionate, enthusiastic Early Career Teacher (ECT) eager to inspire young minds and make a difference in primary education? Are you looking for the perfect opportunity to launch your teaching career in a supportive and dynamic environment? If so, we invite you to join our team of dedicated educators in September 2024!

Position: Early Career Teachers (ECTs) 

Location: Various primary schools across Nelson, Colne, Burnley and Barnoldswick

Contract: Flexible, full-time, part-time, temporary or permanent

Pay rate: £140 - £180 per day

Opportunities:

  • Daily supply work, flexible hours and days to work around your availability and work in different schools.
  • Temp to perm teaching opportunities in a specific school.
  • 1 to 1 Teaching Assistant roles.
  • General Teaching Assistant roles.
  • PPA cover work.
  • Long term temporary teaching opportunities.
  • Tuition.
  • Sign off you ECT years through long term placements through Teaching Personnel. 
  • Roles across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.

Requirements:

  • Qualified teacher status (QTS) or completing initial teacher training by September 2024.
  • Passion for education and making a positive impact on young people's lives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and lifelong learning.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
