Teaching Assistant - Moving and Handling

Are you a Teaching Assistant with experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs?

Then this could be the role for you!

We are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant with the Moving and Handling Qualification and experience working within a Primary or Special School experience. The school we are representing need a support staff member to work with a child in lower Key Stage 2. The child requires assistance, as he is wheelchair bound and does require personal care.

Our ideal SEN Teaching Assistant would be;

  • Moving and Handling trained
  • experienced supporting children with physical disabilities
  • be patient and sensitive
  • be able to motivate children who are disengaged from their learning
  • able to support in core curriculum areas

Teaching Personnel can offer you;

  • up to £70 a day, depending on your previous roles
