Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a Pupil Referral Unit in Stockton to recruit a teaching assistant who is experienced in supporting students with SEMH and EBD in a KS2-KS5 setting to commence ASAP. The role has the potential to continue throughout the rest of this academic year and there is the opportunity for a permanent contract.
Ideally applicants would have experience with SEMH, challenging behaviours and MLD in a alternative provision/PRU setting. An additional qualification such as Team Teach is desired but not mandatory.
Our ideal candidate will have:
-6 months experience supporting students with SEMH and MLD in a mainstream or SEN setting
-Team Teach Trained and a good understanding of SEMH/EBD
-Patient and nurturing mannerism
