Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant or do you have experience in a similar capacity supporting young people? Maybe you are a recent graduate seeking their first steps into an exciting and rewarding career in education? We are seeking a full time Teaching Assistant for a long term position starting in September 2019 and if any of these sounds like you we want to hear from you right away!
- Full time Teaching Assistant vacancy starting in September 2019
- Joining a welcoming and supportive team within an Ofsted graded 'Good' school in Rochdale
- Paid up to £70 a day, dependent on experience and qualifications
- Access to further training and development opportunities
You will be working at a large school in Rochdale with excellent facilities throughout the building, providing you with exceptional working provisions as well as the tools to provide ample support for the pupils that you are working alongside. The school has a growing reputation throughout the community where all achievements are celebrated and staff and pupils work together to grow their success. The school is a short distance from Rochdale infirmary and close to major transport links from the city centre, including Rochdale railway station and Rochdale interchange.
"Due to a gap in our support team we require an additional Teaching Assistant to join the department to work alongside recognised pupils on a 1:1 basis as well as in a group setting. We would prefer somebody who has experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a secondary school, however we would consider applications from those who have worked in a similar setting, such as a primary school or in a different capacity supporting young people in an educational setting or similar" - SENCO
If you are seeking full time employment this academic year and would like to be considered for this position then reply to this advert with your CV and a cover letter outlining any relevant experience.
