A lovely Catholic School in the Merton area is seeking several teaching assistants. The school achieved a "OUTSTANDING" rating from Ofsted as well as boasting impressive exam results. All catholic schools have reputations for good behaviour and this school is no exception. The Role

The roles available are for teaching assistants willing to work full time. The role would be ideal for a recent graduate looking to gain experience in teaching. You will be assisting teachers in the running of classes and gaining valuable knowledge and experience from the amazing staff the school already has. There are no religious requirements for this role.

This will include basic TA day to day activity including:

  • Assisting children with there classwork
  • Setting up displays of the children's work
  • Tidying up/setting out classroom activities proposed by the class teacher
  • General overlook of behaviour of the classroom
  • Assisting the class teacher with activities and work

Minimum Requirements

- Previous experience working in a similar School setting, or evidence of strong Behaviour Management

- A passion and enthusiasm to see pupils achieve

- Dedication to the needs of all your pupils, working with other staff members to offer emotional and academic support

A Child Only DBS on the Update Service, or one done through Teaching Personnel
