Teaching Personnel are seeking a Teaching Assistant to work in a Preston behavioural unit. The School is smaller than average and candidates must be willing to work full time, School hours are 8.40am - 3.15pm Monday - Friday. 

The School caters for pupils with SEMH Difficulties, Autism, ADHD, ODD and Challenging behaviours. The School are looking for a hard working, empathetic, resilient and confident Teaching Assistant with experience supporting pupils from often disadvantaged backgrounds. The School are hoping to appoint a Teaching Assistant with a background in supporting teenage pupils and candidates must be willing to work with pupils who are often difficult in their behaviours. Ideally, candidates will have their Team Teach training, but this is not essential. 

The candidate must be willing to support pupils with a range of additional needs and candidates must be confident in their behaviour management skills. 

The successful candidate will benefit from: 

- Negotiable pay rates GBP57 - 67 per day 

- Long term position available 

- Rewarding position supporting pupils with SEMH Difficulties

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
