Teaching Personnel are currently looking to recruit a Special Needs Teaching Assistants who is highly motivated, career driven and enthusiastic. This Specialist School require Teaching Assistants in the New Year to work with pupils with Autism (Verbal and Non-Verbal), Anxiety, Social and Communication difficulties.

You will be working 1:1 with pupils with Autism deliver intervention programmes specific to theor needs. The school offers full training on how to deliver the programmes and support the childrens development. You will work closely with Teacher, Speech Langugage Therapists and parents to ensure children are making progress according to their Educational Health Care Plans.

You will work in small teams, ensuring the daily needs of our pupils are met in a professional, competent, safe and fun school environment.

You will need to be creative, energetic and committed to engaging a pupil whilst monitoring their progress.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about making a difference to children's lives by enabling them to learn, thrive and achieve.

Ideally you will have experience of working with children with special needs (Autism, ADHD and Behavioural Difficulties) and have good communication skills both written and verbal.

Full training will be provided, however enthusiasm, reliability, being a team player and a self starter are key skills required for the role.

The position is full time, term time only, 8.30-4.30 Monday to Friday.
