Do you have previous experience working with autism pupils? Have you previously worked in an SEN setting but are looking for a new opportunity?

This role could be for you!

An SEN School in the Brent are looking for an Teaching Assistant who has experience

working with pupils across the Autism Spectrum. Pupils you will be working with have a range of

impairments and may have difficulty communicating with others. Pupils across the spectrum find it

difficult to understand the social behaviour of others.

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about working with pupils in an SEN setting, experience working with ASC pupils would be ideal but it is not essential for this role. You must also be willing to have a resilient attitude and understands challenging behaviour.

  • Commit to work 08:30am- 15:30pm
  • Flexible availability
  • Good level of understand of Autism
  • Relevant experience working in an SEN setting

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
