1:1 Teaching Assistant in Hull and East Yorkshire
Teaching Personnel are currently searching for a 1:1 teaching assistant to work within alternative provisions in Hull and East Yorkshire from the new academic year. If you are looking to make a difference to a young person's life and help them achieve their potential, Teaching Personnel have the role for you.
About the role:
Working as a 1:1 SEN TA will involve developing a relationship with an individual pupil and doing what is necessary to support their educational development. This will also entail cooperating with other staff members to track their progress and make appropriate provisions for their education.
Teaching Personnel will, wherever possible, attempt to make arrangements to work around your personal circumstances and offer opportunities on a part or full time basis.
About you as the ideal candidate
- Preferably you will be currently working within an SEN school or have extensive experience working within an SEN school.
- If you have other relevant experience this will also be considered and any past involvement with SEN children inside or outside work would be taken into account.
- You will be a committed and hard working individual with oodles of enthusiasm.
- You will be committed to the welfare of children and always act to safeguard pupil at all times.
- Ideally you will now have your own transport and a clean driving licence, but this isn't essential.
To be considered you must have:
- A valid enhanced DBS check or be willing to have one through Teaching Personnel.
- You will be able to provide 2 references and a 6 year working history.
