Teaching Assistant

I am currently working with an alternative provision that is looking for a Teaching Assistant that specialises in dealing with SEMH and behavioural difficulties to start asap near Sleaford. You will have to be an enthusiastic individual who demonstrates care and compassion towards individuals who have struggled in mainstream education. The ideal candidate will live around or be able to commute to the Sleaford area and come from a Teaching Assistant or Care Assistant background.

The Role:

You will be working for a fantastic educational facility who specialise in working with SEMH and individuals who have left mainstream education. As a Teaching Assistant you will work with the students closely in order to gain a greater understanding of the individuals needs and reengage their learning and development. This role will pose unique challenges and rewards for the successful applicant; you will work with individuals who have been previously let down in the past and you will have the chance to put that right.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Assistance in the delivery of lessons plans
• SEMH, behavioural or care experience
• Comfortable working across KS1 to KS4
• Strong behaviour management
• Be able to deliver intervention
• Developing students social and academic potential
• Be able to work 8.30am till 4pm
