Teaching Assistant

Job description

Teaching Personnel are working extremely close with an SEN school in the Shirebrook area (NG20). 

The school cater from students from Nursery through to Post 16 with a range of SEN such as PMLD, SLD, Autism and Challenging Behaviour. There is also an additional Behaviour Unit attatched to the school which supports students that have Challenging Behaviour and Autism.

We are looking for people that are looking for flexible work and that can be available at least 3 days per week (and be available for on the morning calls). 

The ideal candidate: 

  • Experience working with a range of SEN such as Autism, PMLD and Complex Needs 
  • Comfortable working with a variety of age groups 
  • Able to work on both a 1:1 basis and a small group basis
  • Knowledge and Experience in Makaton and PECs 
  • Access to your own Vehicle

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later
