Teaching Assistant - North Manchester - Full Time

We are seeking a Teaching Assistant to join the school after October half term to support a number of identified pupils on both a 1:1 and small group basis. This is a full time position, ongoing until at least the end of the academic year.

There is currently a vacancy for a Teaching Assistant to join the support team within a large school in North Manchester. This is a full time position and would be ongoing until at least the end of the academic year. the ideal candidate would have previous experience working within a secondary school as a Teaching Assistant and have experience working with a wide range of SEN including; mild to severe autism, ADHD and ADD, as well as dyslexia, dyspraxia and others.

- CPD training courses available to further your development

Working as a Teaching assistant is a very rewarding position where everyday will be different; you will be required to support pupils on a one-to-one basis as well as in small groups, supporting pupils with any education, behaviour or emotional difficulties they may encounter. Whilst supporting the development of pupils you may also encounter additional responsibilities, such as preparing classroom resources, helping with planning and marking of lessons, or helping with extracurricular activities such as revision sessions. You will also be expected to provide feedback to teachers and parents of pupil's progress or any difficulties encountered.

You will be working within a large modern secondary school in the Blackley area of North Manchester. The school has state of the art facilities through, resulting in excellent teaching and learning provisions, as well as a strong supportive culture for both staff and pupils.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
