The incoming Teaching Assistant will join a well established and supportive secondary school located in the centre of Wigan. The school is oversubscribed this academic year with a large pupil intake of over 1,000 pupils. As a result, the school are requiring the additional support from a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant as soon as possible! Although, the large cohort of students does not affect the positive working environment. Behaviour has massively improved at  but some pupils still require the additional, tailored support to help them reach their full potential.

The secondary school is situated close to Wigan town centre, just off the M6 and M61 motorway, making it very accessible for those who live in the surrounding areas of Standish, Skelmersdale, Ashton in Makerfield and Bolton. The school surrounds frequent and reliable transport links due to it’s centralised location, including local train stations and bus stops.
