Teaching Assistant

Mainstream primary schools located within Stockport are looking for experienced Learning Support Assistants to begin employment from November 2020, with the intention to remain as members of teaching staff until the end of the academic year, with the potential to continue working into 2021.

The schools we work with all do incredible support work, especially during the current situation which has particularly affected children. The ideal candidates must have experience in mainstream primary schools

Pupils Expectations:

Attentive communication and confidence during interactions

Speech and language difficulty assistance

Social, emotional and mental health guidance

Physical and sensory need support

Criteria to apply for this position:

ASC experience (Desirable)

Behaviour management experience (Essential)

Experience with vulnerable youths and their behavioural challenges

Excellent organisational skills when assisting the Teacher in delivering and executing lessons.
