SEND Teacher - Stafford 

Location: Stone, Staffordshire
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Salary: £140.00 - £190.00 per day, dependent on experience. SEN Allowance may be available where applicable.

About the Role

We are working in partnership with a supportive and inclusive school in Stafford, Staffordshire, to recruit a passionate and dedicated SEND Teacher to join their team from September 2026.

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference to the lives of children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). The successful candidate will create an engaging, nurturing and inclusive learning environment, supporting pupils to achieve their full potential both academically and personally.

The Role

As a SEND Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
  • Support pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH).
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, SENCOs, parents and external professionals.
  • Monitor pupil progress and contribute to EHCP reviews where appropriate.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive and supportive classroom environment.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or is an Early Career Teacher (ECT).
  • Has experience working with pupils with SEND in either a mainstream or specialist setting.
  • Has excellent behaviour management and communication skills.
  • Is patient, adaptable and passionate about inclusive education.
  • Is committed to achieving the very best outcomes for every learner.
