Teaching Assistant

Do you have experience or an interest in supporting young people? Are you looking to work within a secondary in your local area? If so, Teaching Personnel are recruiting a Teaching Assistant to join our client school.

Our client school are in need of a part-time Teaching Assistant to give pupils the support they need in order to catch up on lost learning due to COVID-19. The school is based in North Manchester, close to transport links and is at the heart of the local community. Ofsted rated the school ‘Good’ in its last inspection n 2019. They have said pupils behaviour is good and they are courteous, happy and confident individuals who take pride in their work and learn well. You will be responsible for keeping this level of learning and behaviour up to a high standard.

• Earn up to GBP350 per week

You will be required to:

• Support students outside of the classroom on a 1-2-1 basis to help catch up on lost learning
• Build positive relationships with the students
• Support student from KS3 and KS4
• Manage behaviour
• Liaise with main class teachers about set work and targets for pupils

Successful candidates must have some prior experience with young people and be able to provide a high level of support to help catch students up as quickly as possible.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
