EAL Teaching Assistant.
Teaching Personnel are currently working with a thriving primary school located in central Cambridge who requires an EAL Teaching Assistant to join their team, this would be a full time role with an immediate start.
The role would include assisting EAL pupils in KS1/KS2 with engaging and understanding the work set out by the teacher. It would also include running small group sessions with the pupils to further aid their knowledge and understanding of the work set out throughout the school day.
This would be ideally suited to a candidate who has a strong understanding of the English language, has experience as a Teaching assistant and someone who has worked with pupils whose first language is other than English. For this role specifically, it would be a huge benefit if you spoke either Spanish or French fluently.
