Teaching Assistant

Job description

We are currently looking for a TA to work within a primary school in Coalville starting in September. This role will be working with a year 2 boy who is working at an EYFS level.

The role will initially be one day a week, but the amount of days per week is expected to increase slowly over time, as the school transition the child back into school. The child will only be in school for a few hours a day at first, so the remainder of the day will be whole class support.

The ideal candidate would be Team Teach trained, but is not essential. The child tends to have tantrums and can sometimes run away, so a candidate with patience and a calm head would be essential. Previous experience working with children is essential.
