Teaching Assistant

Are you someone who cares about making a positive change in the lives of children with complex needs? We are currently partnered with an SEN school in Christchurch who are looking for a special needs Teaching Assistant. 

We are looking for an ambitious individual to join the staff at this school. They are a specialist school, providing expertise in Autism, Aspergers and social, emotional and mental health needs. This school teaches children from the ages of 3-19 years old in a holistic manner, with an inclusive and innovative curriculum. 

They further set themselves apart through their use of teaching children mindfulness and reinforcing a “growth mind-set”, the idea that everyone can achieve, regardless of needs.

The ideal candidate will:

-          Be caring, friendly and charismatic.

-          Have good organisational skills

-          Have previous experience working in education/with SEN (Desirable but not necessary)

-          Available 5 days a week (Monday-Friday)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later
