Teaching Personnel are currently seeking experienced Teaching Assistants on an ad-hoc basis to cover when required in various schools across Cardiff.
The role:
Teaching Personnel work with many schools across Cardiff that require Teaching Assistants on both a short-term and long-term basis to cover general sickness and other absences. In this role, you will be expected to be as flexible as possible and utilise your previous experience with children in order to work successfully in different schools.

- Kind, caring and positive
- Excellent behaviour management skills
- Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs
COVID Precautions:
At Teaching Personnel, the safety of our staff is paramount. That is why we ensure our staff self-certify each week and pre-screen our candidates before each booking. We also endeavour to keep you within a certain bubble of one or two schools. Furthermore, we have created a specific re-entry plan relating to COVID and the precautions we are taking, and it is mandatory for each candidate to read this thoroughly before each booking. If you are successful, a consultant from the South Wales Primary team will discuss this with you in more detail.
Benefits of working with Teaching Personnel:
- Access to free Level 2 Safeguarding training
- The opportunity to gain and refine skills through taking our range of discounted CPD courses
- Dedicated consultant that will support you throughout your roles
- Competitive and fair rates of pay
If you are interested or require more information that please apply today to be contacted by a consultant from the South Wales Primary team.
All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see teachingpersonnel.com/faqs for details.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
