Teaching Personnel are working in collaboration with a large mixed comprehensive Secondary Academy in the centre of Bolton. Due to a restructure within the support faculty, the school currently wish to appoint two Teaching Assistants on a full time temporary basis from September 2019 until the end of the academic year 2019/2020.

**The school are welcoming applications from experienced Teaching Assistants (Level One, Two and Three), Graduates and Youth workers with experience working with young people aged 11-16.**

  • Full time Teaching Assistants required,September 2019 start.
  • Guaranteed until the end of the academic year, possibility of securing a permanent position following this.
  • Earn up to £1200 per month * experience dependent.
  • Located in Bolton, accessible via the M61 motorway.
  • All experience levels welcome to apply.

The responsibilities of the successful Teaching Assistants will include providing general support to pupils across Key Stage Three and Key Stage Four, working alongside the class teacher and monitoring progress. Responsibilities will also include working with students on a 1:1 basis and delivering small group tasks planned by the class teacher with the purpose of raising attainment and improving behaviour.

Located in central Bolton, our client secondary school has approximately 1,000 pupils on roll. The school have open learning areas where students can work in groups with Teaching Assistants outside of the classroom to catch up on particular subject areas. The school can be accessed via the M61 motorway and for those without transport; there are a number of public transportation links that lead to the school from neighbouring areas Bury, Westhoughton and Salford.
