Upcoming open vacancy for a Teaching Assistant at this inner-city Manchester secondary school.
Looking ahead to January, this secondary school requires a Teaching Assistant to start with them, ideally from the 4th January. The successful Teaching Assistant is required for the remainder of the academic year supporting in a variety of capacities within the school including supporting students in lessons, assisting any students who are identified as having various needs and supporting those who have English as an additional language.
This role will suit an individual who has held the role of a teaching assistant previously or has experience of supporting within a secondary school environment as a behaviour mentor, learner mentor or cover supervisor.
Highlights of this teaching assistant role:
- Full time teaching assistant required
- Earning up to GBP1350 per month depending upon experience, responsibilities and confirmed hours
- 4th January until July in the first instance for the successful Teaching Assistant
- Support across a variety of areas and with a number of identified students (across the age range)
- Secure a school-based contract at this inner-city central Manchester based secondary school
- Highly supportive and reputable secondary school part of a wider trust of schools in the Greater Manchester area
The school is located in the central Manchester area close to the central local train stations making it very easy to get to for any teaching assistants travelling by public transport. The school also has a fully secure car park on site for use by all staff. The school is housed in a very new building with the most state of the art facilities.
The school are looking ahead to the upcoming new term and are keen to recruit a confident, motivated all round teaching assistant that is looking to work in a supportive secondary school. This role is a great opportunity for a former teaching assistant looking for more responsibility or a youth worker who has limited experience supporting students. Any cover supervisors or graduates with any relevant or related work experience are encouraged to apply for immediate consideration.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
