Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel are urgently seeking Teaching Assistants for a range of work in schools in the Bournemouth & Poole area. We have requirements for both long-term full-time and part-time work and temporary short term cover. The demand for well trained Teaching Assistants Dorset is always high and we have a range of roles available in primary, secondary and special education needs settings. We work with schools, academies, independents and international schools, so whatever your preference, we are confident we can help.

Initially you would meet with our consultant who would talk you through our process and discover more about you and your requirements and preferences. Our dedicated, knowledgeable and experienced consultants will then speak to schools on your behalf and market your skills to find you that perfect role.

The right candidate should hold a relevant UK degree or higher and a desire and passion for working with children - reflected in a positive can-do approach. Schools are particularly interested in teaching assistants with a specialism, such as working with autistic children or children with emotional and behavioural difficulties. You will need a DBS (criminal check certificate) within the last year, if you don't have one we can advise you how to apply. Our daily rates range fromper day depending on your skills, experience and qualifications and you could benefit from a range of NASEN approved CPD courses should you choose to.
