Are you looking for a full time SEN teaching assistant position?

Would you like to work in an Ofsted rated 'outstanding' SEN school?

Are you able to start work in South Croydon immediately after the Easter holidays?

I would like to hear from you if the answer to these questions is yes! I am working with a large primary school that caters for students with profound and multiple learning difficulties, including moderate to severe autism.

It would be beneficial if you have experience of working with children who have severe special needs, particularly if you have experience of using hoist equipment or moving and handling training. I would also welcome an application from you if you have experience working in the care sector, as providing personal care for students with complex needs is going to be an integral part of this job.

The position available is to work in a key stage 3 class, supporting the class teacher and working collaboratively with 3 other teaching assistants who will be in the room.

Relevant training in Makaton, PECS, moving and handling, first aid or safeguarding is desirable. Once registered with Teaching Personnel you will be eligible to book yourself onto any of the training courses that we offer, which will either be free or at a reduced cost.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
