We are seeking a strong teaching assistant to deliver 1:1 support for secondary pupils who have behavioural needs and autism for an alternative provision in Islington area in September. You must have previous experience supporting pupils with special needs and challenging behaviours to deliver the adequate support needed. The 1:1 sessions will be planned and delivered in their centres, public spaces such as libraries or in the students' homes, this will be delivering Maths , Science and Literacy at KS2-KS3 level.
This post is full time working with 2 children in the new academic year , this will be with the view to go onto a permanent contract after 17 term time weeks!

1:1 Teaching assistant:
- Must have previous experience working with behavioural needs and or autism
- Can plan and deliver 1:1 sessions for secondary students
- Must be creative to bring alive the national curriculum
- Sessions can take place in the student's home , quiet public places , in the school's creative hub in Tower Hamlets
- Able to deliver sessions around the Islington area
- Monday to Friday - Term time - 8.30am -3.30pm
