Specialised Teaching Assistant
Location: Wirral
Start Date: September 2025
Salary: £90+ a day
Contract Type: Full-Time / Part-Time / Temporary / Permanent

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Specialised Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team and work closely with pupils who require additional support to access the curriculum and reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide tailored support to students with specific learning needs, including SEN, SEMH, or EAL.

Work 1:1 or in small groups to deliver targeted interventions.

Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to implement personalised education plans.

Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.

Monitor progress and provide feedback to staff and parents/carers.
What We’re Looking For:

Experience working with children with additional learning needs.

A positive, patient, and adaptable attitude.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, or equivalent) are desirable.

A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
