Are you passionate about supporting children’s learning and looking to make a difference in a school setting? Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a friendly and inclusive primary school in the Waterlooville area to recruit a committed Teaching Assistant to start in September 2025.

Whether you’re an experienced TA or someone looking to begin a career in education, this is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with pupils and support their progress in the classroom.

The Role:

• Supporting pupils across Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 (based on experience and school need)

• Providing one-to-one or small group support

• Assisting the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom management

• Helping create a positive and engaging learning environment for all students

Requirements:

• A positive, patient, and reliable approach to working with children

• Previous experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting (paid or voluntary)

• A valid DBS registered on the update service (or willingness to apply through Teaching Personnel)

• Strong communication and teamwork skills
